    ****SOLD*****

2012 Sadowsky NYC Will Lee 5-string in nearly new condition, purchased new from the shop in September 2012. The bass is in mint condition, not a scratch on it. It has some nice figuring in the wood of the headstock that you don't see often. Signed on the back of the headstock by Roger Sadowsky. All original clear protective pieces in place. Comes with a nearly new condition Sadowsky hard case. Specs and link below.

    http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/6132.html

    Specs:
    Finish: 59 Burst
    Body: Swamp Ash
Neck: Maple with Thin Matte Nitro Finish
Fingerboard: Maple, 22 frets, 12" radius, 1 3/4" nut width
Pickguard: Tortoise (also have original Parchment pickguard)
    Hardware: Chrome
    Pickups: Sadowsky Single Coil
    Weight: 8.80 lbs (4.00 kg)
Preamp: Sadowsky preamp with Vintage Tone Control and Mid-Boost Circuit
    Strings: Sadowsky Blue Steel 45-130T

$3900 firm, plus shipping, no international transactions.

Trades: The only trades I would consider are:

    -Sadowsky NYC 4-string
-Lakland USA 44-60 Joe Osborn alder/rosewood + cash.
-Lakland USA 44-64 Glaub alder/rosewood w/ jazz taper neck + cash.

I'm NOT interested in Metros or Skylines, or any other builders.

    Thanks for looking.

Great weight for a Sadowsky, the lighter ones just don't sound as thick, especially for popping on the G string!

Great weight...agree. Sounds thicker than the lighter ones.....disagree. Mine is 8.0 lbs.....and is perfection. Perhaps too subjective.

Either way great bass and price. I paid a grand more for mine.

According to Kevin, yes its chambered. I initially wondered if it wasn't because its a touch heavier than most of the NYC models I see.

I agree. Slightly heavier ones do sound better. I've compared them back to back. Heavier Sad sounded slightly better to my ears.
