    hey all,

gonna regret this one, but i'm putting up for sale my PJ-5. its a killer bass, but need to raise funds for a studio gear purchase. but make no mistake, there will be a PJ-5 in my future. ;)

    specs:

    • built 6/19/03
      weight: about 9 lbs.
chambered alder body in teal green metallic
madagascar rosewood fingerboard (usually a $75 upcharge)
      Sadowsky humcancelling pickups
      stacked pot onboard Sadowsky preamp
      passive tone control

currently the bass has the reverse P config, but i do have the mint green pickguard for regular config. i also have a tortoise shell guard for reverse config.

tho gigged hard, its been babied by moi in every possible way. so, no cracks, chips, or dings to speak of.

comes with the semi hard shell case.

a local sale is preferred, and i'll be willing to drive as far as connecticut or delaware. paypal is fine, tho it'd be nice to split the fees. other than that money order and cashier's check are fine. shipping on the buyer of course. ;)

brand new a bass like this lists for $3750 asking $2750

    That would be correct :)
I've never been into the J sound enough to justify the Sadowsky cost *to me for my needs*, but when it comes to P/J's I'm a sucker.
And this is a great bass, hopefully you'll see it at the next get together.
