Well as I sit here with a double ear infection, I am selling the last of my "Project Basses"

I have a custom Valenti relic coming to me soon and im just going to keep one bass so this has to go as well.

    FULL DISCLOSURE:

Body is a SX Jazz bass, Its been stripped and reshot with Seafoam Green Lacquer this was when I was experimenting with a matte finish and its solid but has some slight orange peel to it, other than that its flawless.

Neck is a SX bound and blocked with one of the nicest pieces of rosewood I have seen in a while. The neck was shipped with out a nut slot, when I ordered the nut slotting tool it was a tad wider then the nuts I have so there is a small gap. The nut is glued in and its nothing more then a cosmetic thing.

Electronics consist of a set of Fender Lace Sensors(not shown in pic) and CTS Pots with NOS Paper in Oil $30 Capacitor. This set up alone is killer and has tone for days.

Hardware is stock SX high mass bridge with Hipshot tuners including a D-Tuner on the E string.

Pickguard is a Fender mint green and it compliments the bass nicely.

Strung with Labella Deep Talking Flats.

This is not a cheap sounding or feeling bass, the action is ultra low and its got killer vibe and tone for what im asking.

Does not ship with a case. But will be boxed properly.

Asking $400 + $25 shipping in the lower 48 states.

    Paypal Only..

    Very Nice Look.

I too have done the relic'd look. For one customer mind you. And I swear this was the last time I'll take a otherwise new production and in the process of making the bass attempt to make it look 30 years old at the same time.

This process is a lot more difficult than most think, and it aint just chipping paint, and slappin Naptha in a couple of wearable places. I quickly returned to making basses look new again. Work like this seafoam babe you're selling remind me of how much I hated doing that and at the same time greatful that someone else is doing it.

The next person that comes my way asking for a vintaged bass will be pointed in your direction.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures.

    Whoops.

I got ahead of myself. I inadvertentantly mixed my commentary with the bass in your ad. I know the seafoam isn't relic'd in that way. I was actually referring to your website and some of the stuff you had pictured there. But the seafoam does look at least to be a well kept vintage bass.
