OK, it's back up here and available again because I have some bills to pay. Anyone?

This is a US made Fender Highway One Jazz Bass that was custom finished in the classic 60's color Shell Pink. It has a matching headstock as well as an upgraded stack-knob control plate.

The bass is in excellent condition with only a few very minor imperfections in the finish and a couple of very small marks on the back of the neck that really can't be photographed. No dings, or buckle rash at all. It's pretty light and weighs in just under 9 lbs. according to my bathroom scale.

It plays and sounds great with a big Jazz Bass voice and no dead spots that I can hear. The action is low and the intonation is set perfectly.

I just have too many basses and too many bills so........here's your chance to get that "Real" '60's look for a whole lot less than what a vintage one of these would cost, if you could even find one!

Traded! It will ship in a case and be very well packed.

PayPal E-Check, US Postal Money Order or Cashiers Check preferred. I "may" consider trades but cash is king right now!

There just aren't enough pink basses out there. So what are the stack knob controls? Is it still V/V/T?

  5. Beautiful looking instrument. Good luck with the sale.

They are V/T for each pickup. I prefer this configuration to the three knob, V/V/T configuration, although some players feel it's unnecessarily complicated. I like the increased versatility.

I really wish I had something to trade for this bass. I love the highway ones, they all seem to be super light and really easy to play.

  8. That's so nice- & I am NOT a pink guy. Is the finish nitro?

Didn't a former TBer make some of these and put them on eBay?
