OK, so here's the deal with this one. This is a signature Jazz body with a MightyMite neck, a Gotoh bridge and Lindy Fralin pickups. A good Jazz that will be a much better alternative than an SX (IMO) for not much more money. Looking for $250, plus shipping. Email with any questions:

There's been a few questions, so I'll post most asked here.

This is a decent backup bass. The neck is OK....not great, but not crap. The body finish has been "deglossed" by someone at some point (not really sure why) so, it's more of a matte-kinda finish. Basically, if you were looking to get an SX or perhaps a Mexi-Jazz, this would be a better way to go, IMO if for no other reason than the better bridge and pups. No gig bag, medium weight.

I know I'm not being a very good salesman here, but I just wanna be straight with everybody up front. If you're looking for the sweet killer Jazz...well, this probably ain't it. If you're looking for a good backup bass, I think this would serve you well.

Also, PayPal is fine, but if you wanna use it, add 3%...that's what they will charge me to get the money.

It's cool Marcus. I'll take a straight shooter over a good salesman anyday. :D

Jeez....look what being honest gets me. Tons of inquiries at first, then I get all honest and nuthin'!:rollno:

This is the best Jazz Bass ever made. You will sound like [insert bass hero here] every time you play it. The tone is perfect, no matter what tone you want...you will get it with this bass and it will make you play better.

Also it'll make you better in bed.

    It's got it all.

    :D

Marcus, is the pickup spacing "60's or 70's?"

    thanks, chef

I think the "70's" spacing is where the bridge pup is 1/4" closer to the bridge....?

Anyway, since I need a fixed point, this is from the 12th fret:

    Neck: 10 1/2"
    Bridge: 14 11/16"

I would guess that to mean more "70's" spacing, FWIW.

10-4, thanks...I dig the somewhat fatter sound of the earlier closer spacing, but plenty of folks looking for the perhaps brigher Marcus sound would like that info...and the bass. Purty!

OK, I've dropped the asking price to $225 plus shipping, but that's as low as I'm willing to go on this one, so don't bother making a lower offer.

Trades are OK too, if ya got anything interesting.
