    Up for sale are a set of solo strings. The top three strings, A, E, and B are Pirastro Passione while the bottom string is a solo tuning Thomastik Bel Canto Extended C string (to be tuned to D). The Bel Canto is actually a prototype that I got from Thomastik as they don't commercially offer the extended solo string as of yet. All of the strings were used for no more than two months for a recital and they sound fantastic on my bass. If you're looking for a set of strings that react quickly and don't have the metallic edge that some solo strings have, these would be right for you. I'd be happy to split up the cost:

    Pirastro Passione A, E, B - $75
    Thomastik Bel Canto Extended D - $25

    The Passiones are sold, but the Bel Canto is still available!
