TB'ers, am thinning the herd and selling a couple of basses...

1). Status Graphite Series 4000 4-string. Headless, white resin composite body, black woven graphite neck, good condition. This bass has the upgraded Status 18 volt electronics package which includes volume, pickup pan, bass and treble cut/boost controls, which sounds fantastic - can go from incredibly deep to amazingly bright. I believe this bass was made in the the late 80's but am not sure. There are 3 hairline (literally) cracks of around 1 inch in resin composite body near neck joint; these do not impact playability and have not been an issue (nor have they increased in size) in the 4 or so years I have owned this bass. There are also several chips/marks in the composite body - this bass has been played heavily before I bought it, and was my main bass for a couple of years. Includes brown tolex hardshell case which is not labeled Status but appears to be original and made for this bass. This bass looks great, sounds amazing and is solid as a rock... but I'm more of a Fender guy (yes, I know there is a BC Rich Mockingbird in my avatar...so what?).

2). Mid-90's Yamaha Attitude Special, black w/ chrome hardware, maple neck and fingerboard w/ black 'finger' inlays. I believe the body is alder. This is the no-longer produced version of the Sheehan bass with woofer and P-pickups; this is NOT the cheaper Attitude Plus that Yamaha currently makes. The major differences between this and the Yamaha Attitude Limited are:
1). Thinner neck - this bass has a Fender Jazz width at nut
2). No scalloping on upper frets
    3). No stereo output
    4). No Hipshot D-tuner

Controls are (similar to Attitude Ltd.) Woofer Volume, Woofer Tone, and P Volume. No case or gig bag..

This bass plays and sounds great and is in great shape, one small chip on back near neck plate thru to wood...

Please PM for questions and add'l pix on either bass...

    Thanks, Danny

What, pray tell, is this "woofer" you speak of in the Attitude?

Yes, it's the neck position humbucker... all the Yamaha literature calls it a woofer, so I figured I'd follow suit...
