These have been great cabs, but back injury forces sale.

Here are the specs SWR's web site.

The Goliath II features a redesigned crossover, input panel, and 10" driver, greater power handling capacity (500 Watts RMS), and upgraded construction techniques and materials.

    Impedance: 8 ohms @ 600 Hz
Power Handling Capacity: 500 Watts RMS
    Sensitivity: 103 dB SPL @ 1W1M
    Frequency Response: -6dB @ 40 Hz and 12KHz
Safe Excursion Limits: 400 Watts continuous sine wave @ 40 Hz, 56V in @ 8 ohms.
    Size: 23" W x 23" H x 18 1/2" D
    Weight: 90 lbs.

    Production Period: 1990 to 1996
    Asking $175

Here are the specs on the Goliath III

The Goliath III remained in production for 11 years! In addition to the chrome grille and improved construction, the Goliath III featured a shelf port and 700 watts of power handling. The Goliath Series was upgraded again in 2007.

    Impedance: 8 ohm
Power Handling Capacity: 700 Watts RMS
    Sensitivity: 105 dB SPL @ 1W1M
    Frequency Response: 105 dB @ 1W1M (-3dB@ 40Hz and 15KHz)
    Size: 23" W x 25.25" H x 18.375" D
    Weight: 89 lbs.

    Asking $275

If you take both, I'll take $425. There are a few minor tears in carpet, but nothing structuaral. Good working cabinets, just looking to get lighter. I am willing to meet half way to Phx or even all the way to Flagstaff or Yuma with a $50 non-refundable deposit.

No trades at this time unless you have a Genz Benz NEO cab you'll trade for them. Thanks for looking.

What part of AZ are you? I am in Glendale. Don't the II's have Bag End drivers if I remember correctly?

Not sure what drivers are in them (I can check the specs again) but I am in Tucson and would be happy to meet you half way.

    LMK.

    Thanks.

  6. IIs have P.A.S. drivers. P.A.S. drivers, as well as Bag End, all made by Eminence. The only Bag End badged drivers SWR used were 18s fer Big Ben cabs, 12s fer Bigfoot cabs.

Thanks man. I agree they sound great, but I am having a lot of back issues so I have to lighten up. So, someone is going to get a good deal. I just need to raise some cash to get a couple 2X10 NEO cabs.

I see, I'm going to have to hold off for now because it's that time of the month for settling bills. My friend has both though so I'll play through 'em and see if the GAS still strikes me. I'll PM you.

O.K. so here's a thought. I will never, ever use these cabs ever again due to my back situation. It kills me, cause they sound great, but I honestly don't ever want to feel back pain like this ever again. So here's my proposition.

I will sell these cabs (must take both) for $400 to the first person that comes to Tucson and picks them up.

Hit me up. I'm in the mood for dealing.

    Cheers.

You're killing me here! That's a great deal for a full cab setup. (I defy anyone to find a good condition Ampeg 810E for $400!)

If you'd ship the III, I might be able to buy it off you next week. Then again, shipping might run a bit over $100. :meh:

I'll ship it anywhere in the CONUS if you'll pay the shipping. :hyper:
