FS:SX essex fretless Jazz old headstock

    Model:SX SJB-62QMD RDS Fretless
    Looking at selling my SX Fretless Jazz with old headstock. Red quilted Maple top.
    Orange goo was removed from neck and pickguard was replaced with a black pg.
    Has a few small scratches on back.
    Will include gigbag.
    $130 shipped. conus only.

    I think this bass sounds killer. It's got that awesome jazz bass growl with all tone controls wide open or you can roll it off for a more mellow tone. The strings on it now are Dunlop Nickels and they sound great on it. I've had Rotosound rounds and D'Addario Chromes on it and they all sound killer.
    As for the setup, it's got a great feel. Action is perfect, in my opinion.
    Fretboard is Rosewood and has the usual wear that would show on a rosewood but nothing that cuts deep. I can't a good close up picture without it being blurry.

    There is a bit of the orange on the back where it wouldn't come off.

    Is the neck oiled now or finished?

    It had a poly finish under the orange tint.
