I may be interested in these. I'm not sure if i'm "NoFee" or "regular" paypal. Is it a registration thing?

The "no fee" thing is what Paypal calls a "gift", and it means the person sending the money pays the fee. It's against TB rules.

    Apologies.

    I guess reading this.
Doing a search in PayPal also shows that if the sending of money is tied to your PayPal balance or checking account - tis Free (NO FEE, as one might call it).

Please place the link to the statement where everyone on TB must pay fees to buy and sell.

You're linking to a page on an insulation??? website that was last updated three years ago.

Here is a link to TB's rules.
    http://www.talkbass.com/wiki/index.php/TalkBass_Classifieds_Rules_and_FAQ

"No surcharges on an item are allowed, this includes the 3% for Paypal. That fee is the seller's responsibility, not the buyer. Paypal's usage agreement specifically prohibits this.
Do not request a payment be sent through Paypal as a personal payment or gift. This leaves the buyer with no recourse should there be a problem - Paypal does not allow for contesting gift transactions. This is also against the Paypal usage agreement, and can result in action taken against both the buyer's and the seller's accounts."

IOW, even if there is some case where a buyer didn't have to pay a fee because they had the money in their Paypal account, it's still against the rules.
