As near as I can figure, someone w/ superior body woodworking skills and No neck skills made this. Mahogany body, What looks to be flame-maple top, w/ a Japanese 50+ ply laminated set neck, with mahogany veneered face.

It appears that someone dressed the frets w/ a belt-sander, not so much that they are rough but they are very, Very low.

I had planned to either :

    Refret it

    Or:

Route out a neck pocket for a better neck.

But I've been planning this for 5 years now and I realize I am not going to get to it.

The neck is straight, the truss rod works, w/ the action at 1/8" from the fingerboard at the octave , it doesn't buzz, but plenty buzz if you go lower.

    Good intonation.

The included pickup seems to be from an 80's Ibanez, no pots or wiring or springs or screws.

    It is a 33 3/4 " scale length.

Unknown bridge, no truss rod cover.

Oversized pickup route would really benefit from a surround.

    Misc scratches and dents.

    Upside-down German Schallers.

    No case, careful packing.

    $299.00 Shipped, lower 48.

Or trade for an interesting 5-string
