    Hey Y'all,

This is a very nice Rumblefish XL. But as I play it a bunch my wrists say "skinny necked G&Ls - stick with skinny necked G&Ls". So I'm putting it up for a new home again (again because I've owned it twice now). As an XL model the controls are vol, tone & a pickup selector (series, parallel, bridge pickup). Rumblefish have great semihollow air to their tone and the XL has some nice bite. It's strung with D'Addario Chromes and will come with a gig bag with a broken strap (how it came to me).

    $875 shipped CONUS, paypal OK

    trades:

G&L BABP L1K (1.5" nut width, satin neck)
G&L L2K (1.5" nut width, satin neck, lightweight, K switching)
fretless G&L L2K or SB2 (1.5" nut width, satin neck, the lighter the better)
    Lakland HB 30

I've had a number of both the BABP L1Ks and L2Ks that meet my desires and they've all been great. I might consider other G&Ls that meet my requirements of 1.5" nut width, satin neck & lightweight -- no ASATs though as the body shape doesn't agree with me.

Let me know what you've got and what you are thinking deal-wise

This one was mine in between Craig's stints with it. I can attest to the fact it's a stellar player in fantastic condition. And the current owner is no slouch either. Great guy to deal with.

Somebody will be very happy with this great example of a rare 'fish.

I've sold, and bought back at least 3 basses (two of which I still have!). I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that. My wife thinks I'm nuts.

My 5-string Rumblefish is my favorite bass. I keep telling myself I don't need a 4-string version.

    .....right?

I think my number of rebounders is much higher than 3 . . . and my wife knows I'm certifiable. Heck, I've had basses come back twice and I'm raising cash to bring another back for the second time

I'm the wrong person to ask that question if you want an answer other than "of course you need a 4-string version" ;)

I just got an offer of a recording project where they want some fretless, and I'm between fretlesses. So a fretless L2K (1.5" nut width) or SB2 would be of interest to me in trade
