For sale or trade is a magnificent Warrior 5 string bass. It was purchased in October for $4100. It is in great shape. Here are the specs:

    Finish: Anointed Oil
    Top: Family Vault Burl Maple
    Back: Hand Carved Alder
Neck: 3 Piece Flame Maple and Purpleheart
    Fretboard: Birdseye Maple
    Inlay: Custom Abalone Inlay
Headstock: Matching Family Vault Burl Maple
    Tuners: Gold Warrior Keys
Hardware: Gold with Warrior G-Factor Stringing System(tm)
Knobs: 1 Set of Matching Wood, & 1 Set of Gold/Abalone
    Pickups: Bartolini MMX5
Electronics: 18 Volt Active Preamp with Custom MidKit
Case: Warrior Crocodile Plush Lined Hardshell

It would be hard for me to let this go for under $3K. Make offers. This bass is super great with low action & no fret buzz. It will produce just about any sound imaginable.

I now have BAD G.A.S. for a Skjold bass I saw on his website.

Trades will be for a Skjold Custom Exotic 5, or a BNF5 only.

Unless you've played a Skjold with Skjold electronics, it's hard to understand, but I'll just say that the Skjold electronics are some of the best that I've played.

Gene is right. You just have to hear the Skjold/East preamp to know. All in all it's a G.A.S. thing. The Warrior is a great bass, and if it doesn't sell then it doesn't sell. Either way I still have a great bass.:)

Hope everyone has a great day.

  9. I recently picked up a new Warrior Signature 4, and I must say they are incredible basses. I have the same pickup/preamp configuration on mine, and it is a formidable set-up! The tone is great.

    Bump on a beautiful bass!
