    SOLD!

    I bought the body for this awhile back and originally assembled it myself... pretty well IMO.

    A couple of months ago, I sent everything to Nino and replaced the neck, pickups, electronics, and hardware... needless to say it is absolutely killer and like brand new.

    After I rec'd it back, I think I played it maybe once for about 20 mins. Other than than, my 5's and 6er have received all the attention. I've got GAS for another so this one has to go.

    * Warmoth Body - Quilted Maple over White Korina
    * Blue-burst finish
    * Warmoth Maple neck with Birdseye fingerboard with black blocks and binding, with gloss finish.
    * Pickups: Nordstrand NJ4
    * Preamp: Aguilar OBP-1
    * Bridge: Hipshot "B"
    * Hipshot tuners

    Other stuff:

    * Just over 9 lbs (on my own bathroom scale).
    * Comes with a decent gig bag
    * I will accept PayPal
    * It will cost anywhere between $20~$35 to ship via FedEx Ground.
    * Price is firm... this is one HELL of a bass for this price.

    The four-banger is perfect in every way. It cost me about $1200 to put it together. I'd be willing to let it go for $850 plus shipping.

    Here are a cou[ple of more pic that I took before I sent it to Andy:

    The Bridge is the Hipshot A Style, not B style. More mass and very adjustable.

    Also, The control layout is:

    Volume
    Blend
    Passive Tone control with push/pull for preamp bypass
    Bass/Treble on a Stacked pot.

    Nice looking bass!
    How much does it weigh?
    How well does it balance? Is it neck heavy (I have read the Warmoth necks are heavy because of the steel rods they use)?
    What is the fretboard radius?
    Thank you

    Hi There,

    The bass weighs just over 9 lbs on my bathroom scale. The neck is no more heavy than every other bass I've played. The radius is 10".

    THanks for looking.

    With all the emails I receive asking for a Fender Styled Headstock, I'm surprised this is still available.

    That's a really sweet bass for an AMAZING price.

    Too bad my wife won't let me have it. :bawl:

    Love the black blocks on maple and black hardware.

    You gotta learn how to use the barter system... you get something, she gets something of equal value. Throw in a week's worth of foot massages and she'll beg you to buy it... It works!

    If the fretboard was rosewood, i'd seriously consider it. Bump for a beauty.

    I'll give you a bump purely because I think this is a stunning looking bass, and also because the control cavity looks like it could've come straight out of the Sadowsky shop! Nino's wiring is always so neat looking.

    If you don't mind, I'd like to throw a question at you that's been bugging me since I first saw this bass.

    What's the story with the extra battery compartment?

    Pre-amp is listed as an 18v system - thus it would need two batteries.
