Up for sale is my Valenti VJM5 in aged Lake Placid Blue. Nino no longer offers this finish and i must say that the job done on this is pretty excellent.

    Here are the specs.

    Alder Body
    Nitrocellulose “Aged” Lake Placid Blue
    Graphite reinforced Maple neck
    w/Pau Ferro Fretboard
    35" Scale
    1 7/8" @ Nut
    12" Radius
    Nordstrand NJ5 pickups
    Aguilar OBP-2
    Chrome Hardware
    HipShot Vintage Style Bridge
    19mm String Spacing
    Hipshot UltraLite tuning gears
    StrapLocks

It weighs in at 8lbs and the neck is the fastest 5 string neck i've had the privilege of playing. The neck itself is really thin and stable and the action is perfect. Body feels super comfortable and hangs perfectly balanced. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the work Nino does after seeing the construction of this bass and playing it first hand. Boutique caliber construction at a ridiculous price. Really top notch stuff.

I have it wired in passive at the moment with one dummy pot but i can re-install the OBP-2 if that's more your liking. Otherwise, i can just toss it in and you can either sell it off or install it yourself if you feel like you want to go that route.

$1450 shipped CONUS. Will ship in a hard shell case. Not the prettiest thing in the world but it'll protect it while being shipped.

I remember when Brett painted these... I almost made a play for the White one a few months back. If I didn't have a bunch of money sunk into a Valenti custom build and other projects, this would be a no brainer. Awesome bass at an awesome price.

BUMP for an amazing bass. I have two Valentis and they are my favorite basses. Others will go before they will.

Not to derail the thread... but what ever happened to IbanezCollector? He was doing some really cool relic work a few years ago.
