SOLD FT: 1997 Washburn AB20 acoustic bass guitar for your fretless bass!

Salutations! I'm looking to trade my Korean-made Washburn AB20 acoustic bass for a fretless bass. As far as I can tell, it was made in 1997. It's all black with white binding, and has a classy vibe to it. From what I've read, this was the acoustic bass that made ABGs cool back in the 80's and 90's.

The bass is in fantastic condition- I'd say about an 8.5 out of 10- and is all original. It comes with the original hardshell case, as well as the original backup bridge saddle that came with it, used for lowering the strings a bit. The body and neck have some light finish swirls (the neck has the same solid-black poly finish as the body), but nothing is noticeable from more than a few inches away, and nothing is even remotely close to penetrating the paint. Also, there aren't any marks on the front of the body. The only missing piece is the back-plate of the tuning machine for the E-string, but this in no way affects performance. The intonation is spot-on and it knows how to stay in tune. The Fishman piezo pickup and Equis II 9volt active preamp work wonderfully, and it even has its own built-in DI! I've heard that these basses sound killer with tapewounds, but I've got this one strung with DR bronze strings for maximum jangly acoustic volume. "ABG volume" is kind of an oxymoron, but it's sufficient for jamming and singing along with one guitar.

The bass has a very focused acoustic tone that helps it stand out a bit. The moderately-sized body seems to keep it from sounding flubbery and weak.
