I have two Squier Affinity P bass necks. They are both 1 5/8" at the nut.

But...they have problems. The first does not have a truss rod nut. If you look into the truss rod hole, you can see about 1" of the truss rod there to thread a nut onto. I tried the nut from neck 2, but it did not fit, it was a larger thread size. I have not been able to locate a proper replacement nut.

Neck number has a truss rod nut, and it turns. But it was maxed out with a bow still in the neck. I added a few washers which helped a bit. But, it still has a bow. The truss rod nut is now sticking out at the end of the truss hole due to the nuts. Remove the nuts if it bothers you.

I am operating on the premise that these are hosed. But maybe someone needs a couple of baseball bats, wall decorations, or necks to practice evil luthiery surgery on. Or maybe just to take into the middle of the road and play 'El Kabong' with them to relieve some stress. Or maybe someone has the skills to resurrect them. Hell, I don't know. I just want them out of my house!

Either way, I would swap the pair for any one of the following items.

A Badass II chrome bridge or Schaller Roller.
    A decent quality gig bag.
A medium quality set of Jazz bass pickups.
    A decent quality 3 1/2"-4" strap.

Or throw your trade ideas at me. It is not going to take much. Maybe a new set of strings.

Trade ya 2 new sets of strings for these. Don't know the brand but they have pink thread and are steels.
