Up for sale/trade is my beloved Guild B-301.

Action is set medium, with plenty of room to go down with the "tripod" style bridge. Neck is straight and the truss rod works perfectly. The nut is in great condition, and the frets have plenty of mileage left.

Though the paintjob (finish? haha) is beat, structurally speaking this instrument is in excellent condition.

From what I can tell, it is one solid piece of mahogany.

The stock pickups were swapped out, probably many many years ago. What's left is a completely hum-free unknown J-style pickup in the "P" position. I have it wired without tone or volume knobs as this bass was only used in the studio, though if you want pots, I'd be glad to install a Precision configuration for you with military-grade soldering. The pickguard is custom made for the pickup.

The best way I can describe the tone is Wings-era Paul McCartney. In fact... I believe he played one of these for awhile...

Anyways, it has "mojo" to spare...

You can hear me playing this bass on the following track thru an SVT.
Guild B-301 Sound Sample (White Hot - "Falling")
Produced & mixed by the 1 and only Alex Perialas at Pyramid Studios... thanks Alex!

I'm hearing any and all trades on this one.
    Precision basses especially...

    Oh snap!

Well, I don't know how much it's worth being beat up AND structurally sound...

And (sniff) it has some serious nostalgic value :bawl: we've been through a lot together. Just not playing it enough these days...
