Hey all. Now have 2 Precision Basses and am looking to unload one for another Jazz. Looking to trade my 1978 Blonde P in excellent condition for a Fender Jazz. Already have one but am looking for another. This P is all original (including pu covers) except the hsc I have is not original. As you can see, maple neck and fretboard. Minimal wearing on the body. Absolutely awesome color. 1 5/8" at nut. Super low action... super easy to play. Approximately 10.5 lbs. Those are the basics... feel free to send any other questions. If money needs to exchange hands either way, that's cool. Thanks!

Potential change in plans. Any interested buyers? Make me an offer! If forum rules require me to post an asking price I can do that.

First off, a couple more pics.

Given that she's all original, frets and neck are in fantastic shape, she's easy as heck to play and has that aged blonde look you hope for in a vintage bass, I'm going to put a $2000 shipped price tag on her. Again, make me an offer.

Can you give us the pot dates? The S8XXXX serial number covered several years after 1978.Fender used the stockpile of 1978 necks for 4 years

Most certainly, but unfortunately I work 9-9 today so it'll likely be tomorrow. Had all relevant info written down when I first got it, but thought "I'm keepin' this baby forever, won't need it!" Shoulda known the itch for a new Jazz would come back around sooner or later. But yeah, I'll post it tomorrow. Everyone feel free to make offers pending the info.

Tuesday bump. As stated above, more specific info coming tomorrow on pots, etc. Also, posted a price just because of forum rules. I'm open to offers. Looking to decide on what to do with this one fairly quickly, so please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

Okay guys. Pot serial number is r1377720. Not that it nails anything down, but fender serial number on headstock is S898101. Not sure how much interest is out there, but gonna listen to offers for a day or so and then go to plan b. Thanks for your interest!
