This is a fantastic instrument. It's perfect for my church gigs. However, church playing isn't worth me having my nicest bass for... I do it every other week. I just can't get this bass to sink in right with my band. Last night I just got so frustrated and grabbed my Marcus Miller jazz and ran it passive and it was just so much better in the mix. This bass SHINES in the church playing where I can be more lyrical and have a lot of space to play in. In my current band though, I'm just doing lots of balls to the wall 8th notes, being mostly a foundational role. I would sell it for $1900 and some shipping.

I have a fairly specific list for trades. I'm looking for:
    Rickenbacker
    MIA Deluxe P bass
    Sadowsky Metro PJ
    G&L ASAT
    EBMM SR4 HH
    Gibson Thunderbird

Obviously some offers might be +cash.

Anyway, this is just like all the other Sadowsky M5-24s, except I had the VTC installed and dunlop strap locks. I'll include the soft/hard case and a Sadowsky neo strap with it.

Not looking for cash offers just yet, but if you are really interested in buying it outright, send a PM my way.

Please save the "You'll regret it! Don't do it!" posts to yourselves :smug:.

    sadowsky.

Bump. This bass sounds great but is just not sitting well with my band.

Sell the band, keep the Metro. What is their major malfunction, anyway?

It's great for church music. If I was playing in a funk band or R&B or something, I'd definitely be keeping it. But I'm playing in more straight ahead rock bands and need a more straight ahead tone.

    Bump & price drop
