This is a feeler to see what kinds of offers I get. I reserve the right to pull the trade at any time if I come to my senses. Comes with original tweed Hardcase.

Trades only and only 5 or 6 string basses. Modulus, Sadowsky, etc, two for one is ok. Will also consider trading for an RB5 in Teal.

  2. I have this exact bass and lately it's been my main player. It put a DJ5 and Roscoe SKB3005 on the bench!

Man! If this had a maple board.....

BTW, why do the pickups not look exactly straight in the pics? Is that just because of perspective and the angle of the camera to the front of the bass?

IIRC they only made one with a maple board and it went to Roscoe.
It is an optical illusion created by the camera angle and the shape of the pickguard.

To answer the many question on its condition there is one very small ding just below and to the right of the bridge which is hard to see, a couple faint scratches on the back and one small ding on the edge of the neck just below the fretboard.

Hello there. I have an older model, '85-'86 ( or so ) Peavey Tl-6 six string bass in Trans black. Gold hardware, dual P-bass pu's, three band dyna-bass EQ circuit with bypass. Very cool feature...bass runs with or w/out the battery. Massive Kahler bass bridge.
OHSC. Bass has some definite wear-n-tear on it, a couple of chips on the back of the neck and the gold hardware has a little tarnish to it, all from previous owner, but it plays like a million bucks and sounds incredible. Graphite re-inforced neck, Dunlop straploks. Let me know if this strikes your fancy. My name is Kevin.P.S. Can arrange for pix if interested. PEACE
