Reposted as "primarily" a "trade" though I will consider selling this as well...

If you have been looking for a DJ in EXCELLENT CONDITION....look no further.

    100_9842.
    100_9841.

    With it's new "big" brother:

    101_0026.

New in February of 2007 - looks and plays like the day I brought it home! GREAT Lakland J sound and feel!

NOTE: J-retro is now removed....it is now passive and sounds awesome!!!

THE ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IT IS THAT I JUST GOT A NEW (IDENTICAL) DJ5.....

Lakland Pick ups......ships with a Gator hard sided soft shell case....scale says 10 lbs even.

will consider the following (in preference order) as potential "trade bait":

    JO4 Fretless (+ cash)
    JO4 (+ cash)
    JO5 (maybe even deal)
Hollow Body fretless (maybe even deal)
    Hollow Body (maybe even deal)

    Cash deal: $925 shipped CONUS

    Peace:

    Doug

I might consider trading my mid-90's Guild Starfire II reissue. The Dark Stars I added in 2005 add $300 to my cost basis, or I can reinstall the stock pups. Body is natural flame maple. Contact me for pics, or it's shown on the front of Fred Hammon's website (I was an early convert). FYI I'm in Chicago's north burbs.

How about a Lakland skyline 44-01 and a Fender Jaguar?

Take a look at the "Guiatrs" album on my Myspace page. Maybe I could be persuaded to part with something else. Let me know.

I can't believe this bass is still here. I have one in that exact color combo and it's been my favorite bass lately. So much that I'm thinking of getting a DJ5 (but I'm keeping the DJ4!).

Yes! If a US DJ was selling for this price, I'd assume it was stolen.:D

Except I know Doug, he's a great guy, and I've played this bass. It's sweet! Bump!

5ers are becoming VERY comfortable right now for me too....just played my DJ5 at church yesterday and WOW!

That is the reason this has to go...
