    Hey everyone!

Up for your consideration is my baby, my Spector Re-Bop Euro in that Zebra wood finish... ;)

Lately, I've been kinda feeling like a little "fretless" "jazzy bassy" "poppy" kinda mood.... like a Fender Jazz maple neck / maple finger board kinda thing..... ya know...?

I'm thinking more along the lines of a Peavey Cirrus... fretless Fender... I currently own a 1989 Rudy Sarzo and it feels fantastic ! Long slim neck on her...

IDK really... So I'm putting her out there to see whats up...

My Re-Bop as you all know has the active EMG's along with the famous "Tone Pump" with trim pot...

There's not a single scratch on her and she HAS BEEN babied big time ! ! !

The only drawback and I write the word "drawback" lightly, because there really isn't any, but I do because it has been autographed by my main influence "Norm Stockton" of the "NSG" (Norm Stockton Group) and bassist for Christian recording artist Lincoln Brewster.

Here's his website for those interested:

    http://www.normstockton.com/

I was given the blessing of meeting him at a local clinic he was giving last year and had a super wonderful time chatting about touring, gear and our daughters...

*side note* ((( when I met him I felt exactly like the singer dude in the movie "Rock Star" when he gets to meet the lead singer Chris Cole towards the end of the film and tells him, " I study you dude!"... I said those exact words to Norm ! )))

( sorry about the tangent there ) :bag:

Anyhow, his autograph is on the body of my Spector
(I took it along simply for that reason) He was hesitant at first but I insisted.. It was a very special blessing in my life for that season... :)

But now I think I'm gonna let her go...
Not too too sure how the autograph will effect any offers
IF I get any at all...

I certainly have NO problem keeping her....

Just want to see whats available out here in TB...

Hopefully the photos capture the beauty of this bass...

The only imperfection is on the back. There is a small ding in the middle of the back. Does not effect the bass whatsoever.

    * If sold, I would like to get $725.00 SHIPPED *
    * Paypal (no fees please) CONUS *

    Thanks brothers and sisters!

Oh and she also comes with the original Spector hard shell case.... : )

    Peace !

If unwanted that autograph would come off easily using some car wax. I removed a wanted one that way.

Auuuuuuggggh! I could be getting a case of GAS!

What's it weigh? and how wide is the nut?

Beautiful Bass Bump for a great guy and a stunning Spector.

    Hey PAUL!!!!!!

    How are you my brother?
Love what has become of the Fender!!!
Like I said, I feel like a very proud papa!

The Spector is a fine piece. As you read, it has some sentimental value, but my dad always said to never look back and keep moving forward, so I am...... : )

The weight is 8lbs and the balance is simply lovely....

The nut width however I really don't know brother..... I'm not much into measurements. I just pick it up and play it. If it feels good then it's cool. If I pick it up and it doesn't feel good I simply put it down. Much like eating shrimp. I don't ask what the ingredients are in it that makes it taste so good. I just eat it! Ya feel me bro. : )

Hope you are well my brother!

    Blessings!

    moe.

    Hello and good day,

This might sound like a strange question, but is your profile still up to date with Crete,IL????? I live in Joliet IL and am very familiar with the Crete Area. (I worked on the Crete Township Fire Department for 3 years). I was curious if the price would change for a pick up (CASH in Hand):hyper: vs: shipping. I have been slowly getting back into playing and have been looking to upgrade from my Jazz Bass.

Let me know, I am VERY interested.:hyper::hyper::hyper:

    I feel ya, Moe!

I knew I'd have to act fast on a beauty like this, and it looks like you've got another TBer on the line for the Spector.

Best I can tell from the Spector Website
    http://www.spectorbass.com/europe/bolt-on/rebop4.html
is that the width at the nut is 1.64" - that's closer to a P-bass
feel than a Jazz (which is 1.50" most of the time) and my hands like thin, narrow necks.

So it looks like I'll have to defer to other buyers. >whew!< That was a CLOSE one!!! Love the look of that bass Moe.

I have a feeling it'll be gone really soon.
Best of luck with the sale.
