Great looking bass - terrific material selection in that neck and body. I haven't seen many of the pre-2000 instruments - didn't realize they were making maple necks back then.

The body looks like it could be cherry - is that possible?

I'm pretty sure it is cherry but not 100% sure. I do recall looking it up on the Warwick site one time to see what it was......it was either cherry or maple but I can't recall. I tried looking it up just now and the site seems to have been redesigned and all the links I can find for the serial number lookup DB they had online now seem to just default to their home page. If I can get the info I will post it up though.

I can tell you this the neck is one of the smoother necks I've played......only one Warwick I've played smoother was a Fortress Musicmaster with a wenge neck (it was super slim like playing an Ibanez neck). I have owned several Corvette's and currently a Thumb.....those necks are tree trunks compared to this one. It's a nice bass.....I just don't play it much anymore.

The older streamer bolt ons were cherry with maple neck

Had a 400+ on the hook but it got off.

Another bump......this yummy maple neck is looking for someone to play it!

    Trade options updated.

Mesa amps? Tube amps? Hit me up.

I may listen to cash offers if you're local.

Bump for a great bass. I have a '96 bolt on, too. It's light, growls and has an awesome removable truss rod.
