I want to trade my three month old Ibanez SR505 for something else. Since buying this I've bought a Squier VM P Bass and realized that I love them. I rarely pick this one up anymore. Now I'm hoping for an upgrade to the Squier.

It's an awesome bass, great player, fast neck. Properly set up with low action and zero fret buzz. No blemishes. Headstock is gorgeous red.(The pics don't do it justice.) Very light weight. Active Bartolini MK1 pickups. Has a tone switch that toggles between a brighter or darker tone.(The bright setting makes this perfect for slap.) Has bass, mid, and high EQ. All around great bass.

I'm not looking for any specific P Bass. I'm hoping for something cool.
Will include a gig bag for shipping purposes.

    Thanks guys.

Been eyeballing the Fender Precision Bass Special Deluxe Series MIM. I'm thinking that's exactly what I'm looking for.(blizzard pearl or black is right up my alley. But let me know what you have.)

I can provide better pics of my bass.(I realize they are pretty dark.) You can always Google it for detailed pics though, because it's still in the same condition as when I bought it.

    Thanks guys.

What's the best way to ship a bass? I'm thinking some form of case(gig bag out hard case) in a box. Thanks for the help.

    1. Wrap the bass snugly in bubble wrap so it fits tight in
it's case or gig bag. You don't want it rattling around.
    2. Get a box from your local Guitar Center that was used to
ship a bass to the store (they're happy to get rid of them)
    3. Pad the inside of the box bottom before you slide the bass/case in.
    4. insert padding, foam, styro-peanuts, crushed paper or
whatever else you have - all around the case inside the box - the goal being to protect it on all sides, and seal the
    box tight with tape.
    5. Write FRAGILE in big letters outside the box and THIS END UP with a big arrow pointing toward the headstock end.
(This keeps them from laying it flat and piling heavy things on top of it.)
    6. Ship FedEx Ground - While other shippers bounce your packages around causing crushed corners, punctures, and
other damage, FedEx (in my experience) "babies" fragile
packages and delivers your bass in pristine condition.
Be sure to insure your bass for it's true value just in case.

I've shipped several and received several basses and guitars and speakers this way with absolutely no problems whatsoever. You can track your shipment with them online,
and it takes 2 to 5 days max for delivery.

As a bonus, FedEx Ground is cheaper than other shippers.
