It's a CR5M-A from 1995. I believe ash body, maple neck, morado fingerboard. Body has a good amount of player wear ('mojo') but neck and frets are in great shape, with very little wear. Three band BMT preamp. Smith gold bridge and tuners, Black headstock. It's not the fanciest Smith out there but it's a great player!

As nice as this bass is, my Ritter is the only fretted bass I need. I'd love to trade this for a comparable fretless. Cash might work too.

Try again. I didn't realize that Talkbass still had my old email address. I just updated.

To anyone interested, I weighed the bass and I believe it's a hair under 9 lbs. I used the post office scale a couple times. I don't have a scale at home to do the more reliable, "weigh yourself and bass, then just weigh yourself" method.

Added new photos. Please note this is not a Burner, but a U.S. Smith.

I'll consider fretted trades as well, including fours and sixes. If it's a "modern" five, fretless is ideal.

I'm sure this auction will spark a lot of reports so let me explain now. This auction is legal because the thread is more than 1 week old. As per the rules state: "Links to auctions will only be allowed if posted as a reply to an existing (at least one week old) thread originally advertising the direct sale of the same item."

An ebayer hit the BIN, and everything seems on the level so I'm gonna call this sold, and let this thread die with the conversion to the split forums. Just wanted to let everyone who expressed an interest know.

If something falls through, I'll repost on the new forum.

    Thanks,
    Marshall
