    Hey all,
I think my fretting wrist has finally complained enough about the 35" scale length on my Elrick that I need to look at swapping it out for something shorter. For your viewing enjoyment:

    EDIT: Hot new pics here.

    Relevant details:
    • Elrick Platinum Evolution 6-string
    • 35"-scale, 24-fret, one-piece maple neck-through with wenge fingerboard
    • Ash body with spalted maple top
    • Nordstrand DC6 dual-coil pickups (I still have the Barts, too)
    • Bartolini 3-band preamp with added coil-tap for the DCs
She's treated me very well, but like I said, the 35" scale length just isn't comfortable anymore, so shoot me your trade offers (valued at around $2600; I'm open to lower value trades + cash). Here's what I'm looking for:
    • 34" scale
    • 5-string (might consider the right 6er)
    • Greatly prefer satin over gloss finish, especially on the neck
    • Active preamp
    • Dunlop straplocks would be nice :)
PM if you have any questions. Thanks!

Clarification BUMP: I'm not in the position to add cash to a deal right now. The above was intended to mean trade + cash = Elrick. :)

[DEL]Against my better judgment[/DEL] By popular demand, here is a clip of the Elrick with some quickie lines that I'm not terribly thrilled about, but who honestly likes hearing themselves play unaccompanied?

    These are the sections:
    1. Front pickup, EQ flat
    2. Back pickup, EQ flat
    3. Front pickup, coil tapped, EQ flat
    4. Back pickup, coil tapped, EQ flat
    5. Slap section (blend favoring front, coil tapped, lows and highs boosted, hi-mids cut)
    6. Harmonic section... I'm sorry, Victor (blend favoring back, all three bands boosted a little)

Yep, if ad is unlocked, it's still available, though I do have a few appealing trade offers that I'm working through. Sale price would be close to the trade value, say $2500 as a starting point for negotiations. :)

Bump for the evening crowd. I'm open to sale ($2500) and 4-string offers, as well - just send it my way and the worst I'll say is "no thanks."
