This is a relisting. Originally I had offered to trade my Ric for a Warwick. I acquired a Warwick with a different trade and now am seeking a MM Sterling...GAS!

Here's my Ric 4003 in mapleglow. It is flawless...and I mean FLAWLESS! This could pass for a NAMM show model. It is either a 2004 or 2005 model; I do not know how to figure out the exact year (any help on that is invited). The original hardcase is included with all of the original case candy. The case is flawless as well. Also included is the Ric-O-Sound kit and original pickup cover. This bass was acquired from fellow TBer "marwady" a few months ago. He kept this thing perfect, as I have. Tone wise, it has that traditional Ric tone. It has a nice, bright, earthy, punchy crank to it that can only come from all maple neck thru Ric! I love this bass dearly and there is only ONE reason that I would part with it. I want to trade for a MusicMan Sterling or Bongo. 4-string with frets only.

More pics are available upon request.

BTW, the light switch is not included...

Well, that specific pic is one that marwady took. It's his lightswitch. For the right deal maybe I could talk him into parting with it.:eyebrow:

    Thanks for the bump!

I have a passive Corvette 4 string that's beautiful. I could throw in an Incase Tour bag to even out the price diff.

If you didn't live in Ohio I'd offer my active Proline. A Rick is one of the two things (Sterling) I'd trade it for.

Nothing other than the fact it's like 1000 miles or something away from me. ;)

Edit; Whoops, more like 500. Still too long of a road trip.

This thread started out as an offer to trade my Ric for a Warwick. I acquired a Warwick by trading something else of mine. Now, I am looking for the other bass that I've been GASing for, a MusicMan Sterling. The info in this thread has been edited accordingly. Let's see some Sterlings and Bongos! :)
