I've had a harsh realization that I'm not going to master the fretless bass in the immediate future. Each time I take this bass to practice all I can notice is when I'm out of tune (which is far too often). I love the little guy, it's light, comfortable, great feel, and I love the sound.

No other discussion will be entertained. I figured I'd just throw it out there and maybe someday, someone will see this post and tale me up on it.

Why not just have the neck fretted and replace the saddle ?

It's an option, but I figured this might be worth a shot until I get there

I've played this bass, and can vouch for it's awesome-icy.
It made me want a Mouse real bad, and when SirDugh told me this thread was up, I went off to search for it immediately.
Trade huh....I ain't got no fretted Mouse;(
