it's on its way to me in the mail. i heard them play the new stuff live this summer, and believe me, you won't be disappointed. is this a cool album cover or what?!?
I'll probably pick it up tomorrow. And don't forget about the Furniture EP. Did you see them at Fort Reno this summer, or the church?
I ordered my vinyls direct from Dischord last week and I recieved the LP and EP on Sunday. Well worth the $12.50 for both. I saw Fugazi, Shellac, and The Ex this summer in Chicago. Easily the best show I've ever been to.
thanks to DHC i´m hooked on "Arpeggiator" in what album is it? hey DHC, have any more song sugestions?
arpeggiator is on "end hits." as for other fugazi recommendations, they just released "furniture," a very old song that they just never recorded before. great bassline, great lyrics, rockin'. if you're looking for more good instrumentals, i recommend "combination lock" off of red medicine, and "turkish disco" from the instrument soundtrack. one of the reasons i love fugazi is that so many songs completely center on a cool, repetitive bassline, and these songs are great examples of that.
OK, I finaly got this. Despite the lack of noise, it is the most 'Fugazi' album they have made since In on The Kill Taker. Simply wonderful. And the packaging... Jason Farrely is developing quite the cottage industry as far as DC bands go. I still like the insert for the new Burning Airlines album better.
