    Hi guys,

Has anyone out there had a from-the-ground-up (i.e., not using a standard "custom" neck, but rather a newly molded neck built to your specs) composite-necked bass built, by Zon, Status, Modulus, Moses, or any other builder that I'm not aware of? I'm wondering how successful it might have been, around what it cost, and whether you might have worked with a dealer or gone directly to the manufacturer.

    Thanks

    Kim

I know alot of guys have used moses, and most of them seem quite happy with it. Some1 on this board had there peavy fitted with a moses neck to fit the old specs exactly.

I had Steve over at Moses create an exact replica of the Peavey Pallaedium neck in graphite. The width is ultra-thin, and it came out perfect. From what I remember, about 10 years ago, it cost me about $580 installed. It's still in their gallery...
