fulltone bassdrive- jack bruce sounds

anyone know how to get some good jack bruce sounds with the bassdrive, for example his tone on spoonful, crossroads, politician, sunshine of your love, badge etc.also i heard he's actually using one himslef now.

2 fender usa jazz basses, one passive and one with EMG's

Hmm... I've got a Bass-Drive but no Jazz basses around. Do you own the pedal? Have you not been able to get the sound you're looking for or a sound you're happy with?

My guess would be to turn the tone knob down if you're using roundwounds. Jack Bruce was using a Gibson EB-3, whose pickups are completely different than a Jazz, both in terms of output level and sound, though I don't know what pickup settings he generally used.

I'm gonna go listen to those tunes you mentioned...
