I recorded this today on my new computer recording setup. Although I dont know if I mixed it right, but I need opinions from people with different sound systems and all that.

P.S.- Ignore the playing, I know it's very rough, I just wanted to see if I could successfully make a sound clip that sounds decent.

Maybe it's too big? (What's the limit, anyone?)

    It's way too large.

You have to host it somewhere else and post the link to it here.

The maximum limit to attach a file is 324kb

3 megs is way to large, find somehwere to host it, if that will not work, then maybe you have a favorite section that you'd like to show us, you could clip that out, and compress it a little and it should it into the 324kb requirements.

Very nice! Tides, tranquil song, water blue bass... I see you playing in a small evening sun-lit cave by the sea, the waves lapping against the walls... :)

    Sounds good!

It was a little choppy here and there I don't know if that was my playback or the recording, but it slipped up a few places and what not.

as for mixing though, it was pretty decent, some times those low swooping notes came in a little too loud for my liking, and also some of the harmonics kind of got overshadowed, when I feel they were the driving force of that little piece.

You wouldn't by chance happen to be using a BNX3? or maybe just an envelope filter and a whammy?

I agree with you there, WR. It was the recording, not the playback.... it was pretty much a rough draft. I was using plain old chorus on the track with the harmonics and low notes, and on the "solo" track was chorus and reverb.

    How romantic. :p

I can see myself going to your show on a beach gradually slipping into a very mellow state while sipping Patron in Mexico.....

    I like it!
