Funky Broadway

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by swe3702, Jan 11, 2003.

  1. Hi everyone!

I just listened to Wilson Pickett's "Funky Broadway" and I'd really like to learn that bassline!
The problem is that since I have just started to train my ears to be able to hear what a bassplayer is playing I can't get this line right...

So: Does anyone of you know the bassline to Funky broadway, and if you do pleeeeease can you mail me a tab at: swe3702@hotmail.com

Any help would be appriciated / Kalle

It's basically all E. Or E7. If you know how to play an "E" scale with it's major and dominant variations, you can figure it out. Plus that's half the fun.

I could hear "Funky Broadway" 18 times in a row and not get sick of it. It's just so cool!
