funky effects?...

    ive only got a cheap multi fx unit by zoom. i want to purchase some single fx pedals. im looking for a nice funky slap and finger effect. envelope filter maybe?... ne1 have a good site to check out for me?

    Which would be a better pedal to get first, the Q-tron+ or the Bass Balls? I assume you can get a good envelope filter sound out of both. (by good i mean versatile and you can get a nice "wet"/"bubbly"/"underwater" tone)

    Good starter filter I think is the Dod FX25b very very cheap and can give some very good sound or so I hear.

    The Digitech Bass Synth Wah is another good one covering synth, octaver and filter and again at quite a cheap price.

    People have always described the bassballs as a very unique effect and not the ideal example of a filter.

    The Q-tron as good and reknown as it is might not be perfect for your needs some one described it to me recently as being very subtle

    You'd be best tyring before you buy in this case.
