Funky sound

    i have a 15 watts Kustom KBA
    i want to get the best funky sound form him
    here my control panle
    how i need to tune the EQ?
    from left to right
    low>lo-mid>hi-mid>high
    it will ne nice if you suggest my how to tune him to get a nice funky sound for slapping...i dont need the exact tune...just the limits..

    If you are just playing by yourself, then I'd suggest raising the Lows and Highs to about 2 or 3 o'clock and lowering both mids to 10 or 9 o'clock. Then play around with those 2 mids between 9 and 12 o'clock to get a sound you like.

    Without hearing your amp, I suggest boosting the bass and maybe the low mids slightly, and cutting the high mids. Adjust the high mids to taste.

    Should be a good starting point, but this is all highly speculative. :)

    I would leave the low and high freqs centered, boost the low mid, cut the high mids and add a little tiny bit of gain maybe with a pedal. If you loose any lows through the pedal slowly boost lows until you get the tone you want...........but that's just me
