  5. Man, I love Joe Cocker's performances! The captioning was funny... but the singing / performance was one of my favorite of what I've seen of the Woodstock footage.

  6. that made me lol, particularly the turbine part, don't know why.

Good stuff. A lot of those vids don't even come close...but that vid was spot-on. I bet that transcription would hold up in court!

Easily one of the best Woodstock performances.

Joe Cocker plays some of the meanest air guitar EVAR

Got a leather for my Fred! :)

I agree that it one one of the most inspired Woodstock performances. I can only imagine what inspired it.

This was always my favorite version of a good song. :eyebrow: I noticed Joe does a lot of "Singerspeak" where a simple phrase like "Love you, Baby." might get turned into something like "LllllhhuuuvvvvvyehBuhbeh" but I'd never realized how far off the tracks he wanders on this one.

The leg is still the best part.

  17. You have no idea how much I expected to fall into a willing Rick roll.

    Amazing!

And after watching that, I will hear Joe Cocker sing about turbans, turbines and Fred's leather. I really changed my perception of what he's singing!
