    I am putting this in luthiers corner because other bass players might not see the humor in this.

    I came across this on a net hunt.

    Preface: this is not a piece of wood I own, am going to purchase or afilliated to in any way. so this is not a spam in any way shape or form

    (I get crap everytime I mention wood around here in the public forums.)

    having said that: you builders are always poking fun at me by saying "got wood" and other funny monikers etc. etc.

    well this picture explains it all with having to say a word.

    A guy found a lamp in an alley garbage can. When he rubbed it a genie appeared. The genie was late for the carpet races and told the guy that because of time he would only get one wish. The guy thought and thought while the genie impatiently tapped his slipper and glanced at his watch over and over. Finally, after what seemed like several minutes, the guy decided and turned to the genie and said "I've never been so great with the ladies. But that's going to change right now. For my wish I want an appendage as big as the trunk of a..." But before he could get out the last words, the genie lost all of his patience and snapped his fingers.
