I just happened to glance at the flock today and I realized my German-made Bubinga Warwick Corvette Standard gets essentially the same amount of playing time as my $150 SX Ursa with EMG Geezers and a Fender Badass II style bridge. Funny how that happens, isn't it?

P.S. Not comparing quality at all (That's a blowout), just amount of time spent playing.

Yeah that's funny and that SX headstock is huge!

As an older person, I remember when active electronics first became, along with "hippie sandwich" multi-wood basses came, there was an assumption they were superior to Fender style bolt on basses. Forty plus years later, the less complex Fender style profile still rules.
