    Hi folks,

Based on power, tone and optimal portability, I plan to get the following rig :

    EBS Microbass II preamp
    QSC PLX-1202 (1200 W mono bridged @ 4 ohms)
    2 EBS NEO-112 cabs (handling 300 W each @ 8 ohms)
    Korg DTR-1000 tuner

I plan to get a 4U Gator rack with power supply inside, and mount my AKG UHF receiver + the DTR-1000 + the PLX-1202 in it, so that I can use my preamp anywhere without mounting or removing it from the rack.

Any comments are welcome, especially about the power amp.

    Many thanks
    JL

I've owned the microbass for a fwe months now, and its just a fantastic sounding pedal pre. You'll love it.

As for the Neo's I've heard good things especially about size and weight.

Everyone here rates the QSC amps, especially the PLXs.

Sounds good, but maybe a 1x10 and a 1x12 would be better giving you more tonal variations.

I would also say check out Accugroove, they make some light neo cabs that are meant to be pretty much the best.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks for your inputs.

Yeah, I'm going to consider 1x10 + 1x12. The EBS ones stack perfectly together. Unfortunately I found no European dealer carrying Accugroove.

What do you folks think of the power of the PLX-1202 ? Will it be enough ?

    Thanks again

www.thebassgallery.com carry accusgroove meant to be very very helpful guys.

They are located in London, so shouldn't be a problem to ship or even nip over on a cheap flight.

    Hi,
I have a PLX 1602 and I love it. When I run that thing bridged mono into my two Cxl 1x12s it's stupid loud. And I don't think I can stand it to the point of clipping. The 1202 is a little less power, but for all but the loudest gigs, I think you'll love it...
