My current bass “board” with the Eldritch hooked up and my other three favorite bass fuzzes up top. Yes I’m obsessed with envelope filters rn. The Protostar with the Mini (set fuzzy) in the loop is insane

How’s the Timmy on bass? How’s it handle the low end?

I’m not much of a guitarist, but I pulled out the old Strat tonight and plugged in the Box of War. That’s a nice pairing.

I’ve only gigged the Timmy as a guitarist so I can’t say for sure, but at home it’s fantastic.

    It's been a while since I posted that :)

These days I have several ( which is the way of things in the pedal forums you will agree ). I am now completely satisfied with my Fender SubLime along with my T-Rex Dr Swamp ( astoundingly good for guitar and good for bass as well - it fit's nicely between the Sub and my Wren and Cuff 47 73. In a very minor way my Electro Harmonix Canyon can provide a mild flavor of fuzz or enhance my other offerings. I'm covered for what I like to do. I can get vibe all the way to absurd.

Is it right to swoon over a pedal? As I am now? This thing is gorgeous...

Saw that you've got it nestled on your board - that's a sweet board btw.

Glad I'm not the only one who couldn't resist the black & red.

Yesterday I finally had a change to play through the B:assmaster and Grey Stache in a band setting and holy!

The b:assmaster is an untamable beast at home, but works wonders in the mix. Raw, gnarly, cuts through.

The Grey Stache sounds great, but I really need to dail in the sound still.

I run my stache with everything except volume on 10, my other setting is the tone knob a bit past 12 and the Mids around 1-3

Meant to say, try turning the knobs all the way up too! That’s a great doomy tone

Spruce is back in business and The Gale is available now. I have an old one and thinking about nabbing one because I think they are normal sized now.

Plugged the PJ Mustang into the Box of War today. That’s fantastic.

    Rust Hammer:
So this was much faster than I expected.
Paul sent me a note that it was ready and if I wanted to swing by I could cut the shipping. Turns out we're just a few minutes apart, who knew? Anyway, this is a beast. Only spent about 20 minutes on a bass and another 10 on a Tele, will dig in later today. The control is really responsive to instrument volume. Totally hand wired goodness. Also, Barbarian Fuzz Raiders is the same guy as Gremlin Machine Shop. I opted for the blue instead of the hammered copper, comes in a few colors. He's a super nice guy, great experience. Check out both his brands. Took 1 week for MTO fully hand wired fuzz that spits napalm, I'll absolutely check out more of them. upload_2021-6-14_16-24-37.jpeg

    Looks interesting.

Out of curiosity why the two different brands? Seems to me they're very similar.

I don’t have any idea. I thought for a minute about asking him. There’s some crossover for sure.
