I play with a Peavy TNT 100 and when I play, to get good sound while playing with my band, I get a fuzzy sound. I got it from my cousin, and I have no clue how old it is. Any help would be great.

  2. The speaker or the amp could be breaking up at full volume. Maybe get an extension cab (not sure if it has a jack for one...)? You'll be able to squeeze a little more power out of it, maybe not have to turn it up as loud.

    And probably mid 80's.

    couple things it could be

If its a single 15 inch, and you play with alot of highs, it seems to really screw with the speaker. Also check for any loose connections, rattling speakers, or the thing could just be starting the downfall into blown to hellness...

I have a crate 100 watt single 15, the thing lasted a long time bein played as full volume, and it just cant quite handle the full on band playing like it used to anymore...just comes with age i guess..
