Well i went to my local guitar center to pick up some Labella deep talking flatwounds which were highly recomended to me on here, and guess what?.....you guessed it...no such strings at my local store.I had my choice of Rotosound Jazz Bass Flats or Fender Flats. Well I went with the Rotosounds, bought a pair for my 75 P-Bass and a pair for my '00 American Fender Jazz.Surprisingly enough..i love them....warm and deep with good fundementals...particularly on my old P-Bass.This old thang was made for flats....i'm in love again....sighhhhhhhhh

I once went into the Marietta GC and asked for flats.

I was told, "Sorry, we don't carry that brand." :meh:

This was from their "string expert" behind the counter...

Online is the way to go for flats. I get mine from Steve "Dude" Barr. He carries TI flats, and Rotos, too.

    GC's everything selection sucks.

    IMHO. :D
  4. All flatwound strings sound dead the second you get them to me. Maybe im not used to the sound of flatwounds, but i prefer roundwound.

Just my opinion :bassist: :bassist: :bassist:
