I all, I am looking to replace my Behringer BX3000T with a Backline 600. I am looking for a less "colored" tone then the Behringer.

Both comparitively priced amps, would the Backline 600 be a upgrade for myself tone-wise, or just a swap?

For one thing, it would weight roughly half as much. Tone quality is up to your ears. It is encouraging that this is something like the third or fourth generation of GK amps, giving them many years to figure out how a bass amp is supposed to sound.
