Please PM me if you have questions or want more pictures.

The ONLY trades I'm interested in:

-MusicMan Sterling HH 4 - Neptune Blue PDN or Honey Roasted PDN limited runs (mahogany body), 9.0 lbs or less preferred.

-Mike Lull P4 with deeper forearm and back contours, 9.0 lbs or less

-G&L LB-100 with ash body / maple board, clear finish, Jazz width neck, 12” fingerboard radius, 8.5 lbs or less

First is a rare G&L Interceptor, they supposedly only made around 400 of these and most had front mounted controls. The body looks like maple and has a gloss black finish, the neck is maple with a matching headstock and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The overall condition is good, it's been played and used but everything works fine with two exceptions - this bass has the dreaded ski-jump at the end of the neck. If you like your action high and stay below the 12th fret you might never notice the issue. I've priced this so the buyer can get the neck planed and refretted, and still be within what this bass would cost if the neck was perfect.

The other issue is the electronics: all 3 pots crackle when they are turned, this is an easy fix with DeOxIt. In passive mode it sounds great, when I turn on the preamp it distorts, so I'm guessing either the battery is dying or the IC chip in the preamp needs to be replaced. Both of these are easy repairs so I'm leaving that to the next owner along with the neck issues.

Weighs 10 lbs and the neck is 1-5/8" wide at the nut. Controls are stock: volume, treble cut, bass cut knobs, pickup selector, bass boost on/off, and preamp on/off. Comes in a non-original tolex hard case that will protect it well during shipping but it's not ideal for gigging, the area that holds the neck in the middle of the case has widened a lot so the bass is loose side to side. I'll of course pack it very carefully so that's not a concern. The strap buttons have been changed to stock G&L buttons since I took the pics below.

    Price is $399 shipped SOLD

Second is a very nice but well used Guild SB-202. This bass sounds and feels incredibly good but it's such a chunk that I want to move it along - it weighs 11.3 lbs! There is finish wear and checking all over but the neck is super comfortable and easy to play. The pickups sound really great - sort of Rickenbackerish but also like a beefy Jazz bass. Controls are stock and all passive - neck volume, bridge volume, and treble cut tone knobs, and a pickup selector switch, and also a small mini-switch for phase which only works when both pickups are on and sounds terrible. The pots could use some DeOxIt, they crackle a bit when turning, everything else works fine. The neck is 1-5/8" wide at the nut. Comes in the original hard case and includes the original Guild leather strap. The body and neck are solid mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard, the body finish is Candy Apple Red metallic.

    Price is $599 shipped SOLD

Interceptor pickups alone are worth it. Same pickups that are in the mighty El Toro.
