g&l jb-2

    I ran some searches and never really found anybody that owned a jb-2 rather than an L-2000. Are there any tb'ers that own them? I would like a description of its tone and playability.

    Ive been interested in the JB-2 myself but no one has posted anything about them. Im looking for a jazz bass and I can get one of these for just under $1k. Anyone have any experience with the JB-2? Any info would be great. Thanks!

    I had a JB-2 fretless. The neck feel was slim and fast, the body balance good. The tone was of course J'ish. The one negative was a poorly shielded cavity. (No shielding.) An easy fix, but still...

    One thing to be aware of is G&L has a poor resale value. It's getting better.
