Up for sale only is a mint condition G&L Jazz bass. I love this bass but it does not get any playing time due to my other basses.

I bought this bass from a TBÂ’er, here is the original thread. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/g-l-jazz-bass-silver-flake-custom-848578/

Tons of great options from G&L included. Also I installed a John East J-retro and this bass has totally opened up. Original control plate is included. Here are some of the pics from the original thread. Only difference is the J-retro add!

Silver Flake finish with matching headstock
    Birdseye maple fingerboard
Quarter sawn neck that's nice and stable
Vintage frets. The action on this bass is so low.
    Stainless steel fret wire
    Gloss neck with vintage tint
Crome Bell Cover for the neck pickup(not mounted)
    OHSC with all paperwork
Hipshot d-tuner installed on it that comes with the bass
It balances nice and weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces. Bass plays and sounds great! Never gigged, only recorded with it.

$1,500.00 shipped in the CONUS. with the J-Retro $1,300 without!!!!!!!!

Feel free to run trades by me! Really looking to sell but you never know!

Payment can be made by U.S. Postal Money Order or Paypal.

Quick note - that's a G&L JB, NOT a JB-2. You might wanna correct that because they are rather different beasts.

Awesome basses and that is an awesome finish!
