I tried a Tribute version but the neck was way too skinny for me...but it sounded great.

USA versions, you're allowed to order whatever neck type you want, correct? Or is that only for certain G&L models? If so, I may have to just spring for the USA version.

Anyone have a Kiloton with a wider nut width?

    G&L options for US basses....
    USA Bass Options
As far as I know, these options are available for any USA made bass.

Four string yes, you can choose the nut width and radius. For a five string though, I believe you can only choose the radius.

  6. Yes. I have the biggest nut width and neck that G&L makes. It's the vintage Pbass neck specs... 1.75"

Mine is wider, but it’s a 5 string. Btw the neck feels heavenly.
  10. Here's the G&L option that I always choose on my builds. This Kilo is the seventh G&L that I've built with this neck.

1 ¾” Medium C 1 ¾” nut width traditional to a P bass, Leo brought it with him to Fender Avenue for the L-2000 and other models. 1 3/4” nut width, generous edge roll, medium taper from 0.820” at 1st fret to 0.940” at 12th fret. These specs were part of the #5 and #7 necks.
