    Price:
    1075
    Strings:
    5
    Location:
    California
For Sale my G&L L-2500 Natural ash body with quarter sawn maple neck and maple fingerboard.
This bass lives up to the fame of the L2500's being extremely versatile tone wise.
The pickups and electronics allow a lot of different tones to be dialed in.
I have been looking for a 5 string, tried out this one for a while.
As much as I love the neck, the tones and the overall feel of this instrument the string spacing is narrow for me.
This bass rivals in build quality my fender precision select, and natural maple is a killer combo to me.
It is light for a 5er, will weigh and post as soon as I can get a scale.
Includes the original G&G case, a little wear but perfectly functional.

I would be willing to trade for Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass V.

I would consider a Lakland Skyline 5 string as well, 55-60 or Daryl Jones.
I am looking for a classic looking 19mm spacing 5 string.

Curious about the neck since I've never played a G&L. Does it have a thinner profile like say a Dingwall or Peavey Millenium or a thicker neck like a Warwick? Also is the neck satin or gloss?

    hi brandon.miller
I cannot speak for Digwalls as I have never held one. The neck feels to me an in between my Fender P-Bass (meatier) and my Jazz Bass which is thinner.
It is by no means a baseball bat or a skateboard (as I like to describe flat modern necks a-la Elrick)
    The finish is Satin.

Here is what another T-ber says about the neck profile
"The profile on the US is more shallow & less fat/round. I have large hands, so neither is a problem for me to get around on, but I think the US feels better." that is comparing it to the Tribute series which has a baseball bat neck, korean made.

Here is how G&L describes it:
    G&L 1 3/4" Medium C 5 with 12" radius

It definetly feels Fenderish to me, if that makes any sense...
