    For sale here is a great example of G&L 5 string bass.
    Model L5500 in great condition except for a 2 small nicks under lower horn.
    Trans red over ash coming in at 10.5lbs.
    Pretty sure electronics are original EMG 2 band 40DC pickups.
    Will be shipped in original hard case.

    Somebody is sleeping here. This is a great value that I'd be all over except that I already own one. There are several places on YT where you can hear a 5500 - go check one out. These have a great "clarity" of tone and a nice growl in the bottom end.
